Sky Galante is starting to shine

Well it's been an interesting time, big vets bills, new saddles & pulled teeth (human that is). So amongst all of this we have managed to get out a few times. Galante has had a new saddle from Barnsby & we love it. Massive changes for the positive he's far less sensitive & very happy, the old saddle just didnt fit him & after just 14 months it was felt a new one had to be sourced. Barnsby where great from answering my initial email to arranging the fitter. The fitter was John Jukes & wow what a fitter all I can say is if you can use him.

Anyway Galante did two stonking tests at Eland Lodge on the 7th April, we would of won both Novices but unfortunately i went wrong twice in the first test meaning we dropped to 65+% & then went wrong once in the qualifier meaning we dropped to 66+%. I could have kicked myself but we all have off days & that was definitely mine, but Galante was really on form & worked like a Pro.

We then decided on a late entry to Hargate for 2 more Novice tests, cue more drama lol. The day before I came down with terrible tooth ache it was that bad I did contemplate knocking myself out, so an emergency visit to dentists. I ended up having a large bottom jaw molar removed & also had a nasty infection I was great whilst the Novocain was in place but once it wore off I found I actually didn’t feel too well at all. Speaking or eating was a big no no.
You’re now thinking did she withdraw aren’t you??
Answer of course was NO way!
I stupidly went Galante hadn’t been ridden for two days I had severe pain, not able to speak well or ride well for that matter but somehow we managed 64+% & 65% & 2nd place in both AGAIN. I actually thing Galante took over as I was useless.
