Exciting news

For those who dont watch my Facebook page i would like to share some exciting news. I am now a Trainee British Dressage Judge, this is something i have been wanting to do for a while but have always held back. However i seized the day & put forward my Application to BD & was accepted very quickly to my surprise.

Im looking forward to now completing my training as im sure this will add even more to my own competing & teaching.

Other news is that Castle Troy competed at Tatton Dressage Somerford on the 8th May, it was his first competition of the year & we did Medium 73, it was a hot class & as usual all the top horses where out at Somerford. I still have no idea where we came in the class as i had to leave before the end, but i do know our score was 60.88%. Which isnt great but we did enjoy ourselves to the max & we did notice that in general the scores where all on the low side there where lot's of sub 60 scores.

We will be out again soon no doubt having another fun day, when you've had a horse come back to ridden work from a very serious injury you find that even the worst score wont take the smile off your face. I realise just how lucky i am to be able to have Troy out competing again.
